Active Power Over Ethernet EMI Filter
The ACTIV POE is the world's most advanced active Power over Ethernet EMI filter, delivering 100dB shielding effectiveness from 10kHz to 40GHz for Ethernet connections from 10Mbps to 10Gbps. Proprietary Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology faithfully reproduces Ethernet signals while suppressing both radiated and conducted emissions with no signal leakage on either side of the enclosure wall. The filter simultaneously generates and filters up to 60W of 802.3bt PoE power through a single shield penetration — eliminating the need for a separate power penetration, separate PoE injector, or separate power supply inside the shielded enclosure. The ACTIV POE employs proprietary DSP technology to actively reconstruct Ethernet signals without interference while simultaneously providing Power over Ethernet on the same CAT cable. Unlike passive RJ-45 EMI filters that degrade signal integrity at high data rates, the DSP engine operates at line rate — faithfully reproducing every packet while eliminating both radiated and conducted EMI. No signal leakage. No latency. No impact on network performance or PoE detection.
The ACTIV POE supports 802.3bt Type 3 PoE up to 60W through a single shield wall penetration. This eliminates the separate penetration for a power filter, separate PoE injector, and separate AC power supply that would otherwise be required for powered devices inside a shielded enclosure. Security cameras, access control readers, wireless access points, and networked sensors can all be powered and connected through a single DJM filter. The Universal Mounting System accommodates wall thicknesses from 1/8 inch to over 11 inches with standard penetrations of 1″, 3″, 9″, and 12″. Custom lengths available for any wall thickness.
