The ACTIV 10G employs proprietary DSP technology to actively reconstruct Ethernet signals without interference. Unlike passive RJ-45 EMI filters that degrade signal integrity at high data rates, the ACTIV 10G DSP engine operates at line rate — faithfully reproducing every packet while eliminating both radiated and conducted EMI. No signal leakage. No latency. No impact on network performance.

Military-grade passive filtering stages supplement the active DSP core, extending attenuation across the full frequency band from 10kHz to 40GHz. The machined aluminum housing provides mechanical shielding and rugged protection for any installation environment — from ICD-705 compliant SCIF facilities and high-field MRI rooms to RF and EMC test laboratories and reference audio installations. The DJM Universal Mounting System accommodates wall thicknesses from 1/8 inch to over 11 inches with standard penetrations of 1″, 3″, 9″, and 12″. Custom lengths available for any wall thickness.

Military-Grade Construction

Machined from solid aluminum with electroless plated nickel finish. ESD and transient voltage suppressors, gas discharge tubes, and current limiters on all signal lines. Built for harsh environments and long service life.

Universal Mounting System

Mounts to any RF shielded enclosure or shielded room from any manufacturer. Standard penetration lengths of 1″, 3″, 9″, and 12″ accommodate wall thicknesses from 1/8 inch to over 11 inches. Custom lengths available for any wall thickness.

Auto-Negotiating, Hot Pluggable

Automatically negotiates 10Mbps through 10Gbps on standard CAT cable. Hot pluggable with auto MDI/MDI-X and auto link restoration — insertion or removal does not interrupt other active ports.

ACTIV 10G Hardwire Kit

The ACTIV 10G Hardwire Kit converts any standard ACTIV 10G into a permanent hardwired installation using building power. The kit includes a steel junction box with an internal Mean Well LPV-60-12 12VDC power supply, a perforated steel cover panel, a 10-foot plenum-rated barrel connector cable, and mounting hardware. Designed for installations where AC outlets are unavailable, code-prohibited, or impractical, including above drop ceilings, inside equipment rooms, and in MRI suites where electrical code in many states prohibits AC outlets above the ceiling plane. Order the ACTIV 10G and the Hardwire Kit separately.

ACTIV 10G EMP Kit

The ACTIV 10G EMP Kit adds electromagnetic pulse protection to the ACTIV 10G for Ethernet connections requiring hardened infrastructure. An EMP surge suppressor rated to MIL-STD-188-125 E1 and E2 pulse events mounts inside an outdoor junction box on the exterior face of the shield wall, with the ACTIV 10G filter installed on the interior side in the standard configuration. Surge suppressor waveform characteristics and protection levels can be modified for specific application requirements. Maximum data rate with the EMP Kit installed is 1 Gbps. Available by special order only.
