Active USB 3.1 Gen 2 EMI Filter
The ACTIV USB 3.1 is the world's most advanced active USB EMI filter, delivering 100dB shielding effectiveness from 10kHz to 40GHz for USB connections from USB 1.1 Low Speed through USB 3.1 Gen 2 SuperSpeed+ at 10Gbps. Proprietary Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology faithfully reproduces USB signals while suppressing both radiated and conducted emissions with no signal leakage on either side of the enclosure wall. Unlike fiber-based USB isolators that generate their own radiated emissions inside the shielded enclosure, the ACTIV USB 3.1 is electromagnetically quiet on both sides of the wall. Supports USB Power Delivery 3.0 up to 60W through the same shield penetration. Made in the USA.

The ACTIV USB 3.1 employs proprietary DSP technology to actively reconstruct USB signals without interference across all USB standards from USB 1.1 through USB 3.1 Generation 2. The DSP engine operates at line rate — faithfully reproducing signals from Low Speed (1.5 Mb/s) through SuperSpeed+ (10 Gb/s) while eliminating both radiated and conducted EMI. No signal leakage. No latency. Transparent to USB enumeration and invisible to connected devices.
The ACTIV USB 3.1 supports USB Power Delivery 3.0, passing filtered power profiles from 15W to 60W through the same single shield penetration — no separate power penetration required. ESD and transient voltage suppressors, inrush current limiters, and gas discharge tubes protect against unanticipated voltage and current surges. The DJM Universal Mounting System accommodates wall thicknesses from 1/8 inch to over 11 inches with standard penetrations of 1″, 3″, 9″, and 12″. Custom lengths available for any wall thickness.
